HCP Talent is currently seeking a Registered Nurse (Floor Nurse) for a full-time position in a Long Term Care/Rehabilitation setting ***New Grads Welcome***

Collaborating with a Skilled Nursing Facility (120 beds) in the Ithaca, NY area that is looking for an Floor Registered Nurse (RN) to join their team. The RN plays an integral role in helping to consistently exceed expectations and set the standard for excellence in resident care.

Registered Nurse Duties and Responsibilities, including but not limited to:

• Assist in assessment and care planning for residents.
• Performs nursing functions as needed on a regular basis.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed understanding the dosages, effects, and reactions to medications.
• Ensures all aspects of care is provided.
• Administer general nursing care to patients in the assigned area under the direct supervision of the RN Unit Manager and RN Supervisor
• Maintain accurate documentation in records.
• Check control drugs, review lab reports, review physician orders.
• Inform the Physician orders are transcribed and carried out in a timely manner and other RN duties within the Scope of RN responsibilities.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Valid NYS RN License
• Must be able to work every other weekend
• Communication Skills

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $40.00 - $41.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 35 per week
